Free Pregnancy Ultrasound
An ultrasound/sonogram provides you with accurate information to date your pregnancy and to be sure it is not ectopic.
Here at the free pregnancy clinic, we provide Limited Obstetrical Ultrasounds done by trained medical professionals.
If you are considering an abortion, Florida law requires you to have a sonogram. We provide free ultrasound and an accurate picture of your pregnancy. Accurately dating your pregnancy will determine the type of procedure available to you.
Ultrasounds can also be used to look for any potential complication such as an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy which can be life-threatening. (See "Is it an Ectopic Pregnancy" below)
*Our ultrasounds are not designed to determine the sex of the baby or diagnose medical conditions, but we will be happy to provide referrals to local doctors.
Once your free pregnancy test and ultrasound exam is complete, the RN will provide you with information and talk over any concerns you may have. Because we do not perform or refer for abortions or make any money from any choice you make, there is no pressure.
We inform, YOU DECIDE.
Is it an Ectopic Pregnancy?
In 1 of every 50 pregnancies, the fertilized egg stays in the fallopian tube. In that case, it's called an ectopic pregnancy or a tubal pregnancy. In rare cases, the fertilized egg attaches to one of your ovaries or another organ in your abdomen. In either case, it puts you at risk. Ectopic pregnancies require emergency treatment.
Most often, an ectopic pregnancy happens within the first few weeks after conception. Should this be the case, we will immediately advise you where to go for further care.
